Robert A.M. Stern is a practicing architect, teacher, and writer. He is a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects, and in 2017 received the Topaz Medallion, awarded jointly by the AIA and the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture in recognition of outstanding service to architectural education. Mr. Stern is the 2011 Driehaus Prize laureate and in 2008 received the tenth Vincent Scully Prize from the National Building Museum. In 2007, he received both the Athena Award from the Congress for the New Urbanism and the Board of Directors’ Honor from the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art. He has been a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts & Sciences since 2007 and a member of the American Academy of Arts & Letters since 2011.

Martha Dayton Design
Martha spent the early part of her career in Providence and Boston, re-imagining single and multi-family homes. After moving to Minneapolis, she worked in commercial real estate leasing before joining The Lander Group as President of Design. In 2005, she founded Martha Dayton Design and began building a portfolio of success on projects that span the United States and Central America–including New York, Washington D.C., Chicago, Minneapolis, Los Angeles, Jose Del Cabo and Costa Rica.
Outside of spending time with her family, Martha finds inspiration in photography, art and travel. Her mission to support the community is paramount and she is passionate about education, the arts and and advocating for type one diabetes. She is a founding member of PAB’S PACKS, a non-profit organization serving chronically ill teenagers with repeat hospital visits and has served as a member on numerous boards, including The Blake School, Minnesota Children’s Museum, the Walker Art Center and the Minneapolis College of Art and Design.
